Animoto is a digital video tool, which allows you to create a video using images, video clips, music and text. 


Glogster is a multimedia tool which allows you to create a multimedia interactive poster - combining images, graphics, audio, video and text on one digital canvas. 

It also has an iPad app.

The Noun Project

The Noun Project is a collection of royalty free icons that can be used for free as long as you credit the creator correctly and reference them. 




Box is an online file storage, sharing and collaboration tool. 

It allows you to save and access files remotely, and you can also work on documents and projects with others. 


Citelighter is a student research too. It creates a cloud based toolbar which allows students to save their online research activity as they browse resources, sites and articles, automatically creating a bibliography and selection of citations when saved. Other features include a note maker.

Diigo is a research companion app - a web extension tool which is linked to browser activity, allowing you to collect and organise information as you research. 

It also allows students to highlight, annotate, tag and save information, which is then accessible online from anywhere. 


Evernote is a workspace application for documents, web links, presentations and more; with the ability to sync across devices, Evernote allows you to take notes, plan and write on any digital device. 


iCloud is a cloud based storage drive for files, documents, images and more. Useful for those using Apple products, you can sync documents between devices and access online anywhere. 

Microsoft OneDrive

Microsoft OneDrive is a cloud-based file storage application which allows you to save documents, photos and files from any device and access them anywhere via an Internet connection.
